WHO WE NEED
We are looking for our first and main hire—a Senior Full-Stack Developer or Architect who will single-handedly own the technical development and launch of the MVP.
You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery—from architecture and security to backend, minimal front-end, and essential DevOps. This is the ideal role for an experienced, self-driven developer who thrives on building a secure product rapidly.
Our client is building an innovative, AI-powered SaaS platform that automatically and securely delivers personalized post-procedure videos to patients of dental practices. The mission is to enhance the patient experience and reduce the workload on office staff.
About the Project
The MVP (Minimum Viable Product) will enable clinics to:
– Upload or record videos.
– Personalize them with patient details (name, procedure) using the HeyGen API or local rendering (FFmpeg/Remotion).
– Automatically send videos via HIPAA-compliant email/SMS (Twilio/SendGrid).
– Track basic engagement metrics (deliveries, views).
As a Full-stack developer, you will
- Design and develop a secure web-based admin portal for dentists (login, patient management).
- Build the Video Personalization Engine (integrating with HeyGen API or FFmpeg/Remotion).
- Set up asynchronous job handling (queues/workers) for video rendering and delivery.
- Implement automated message delivery (email/SMS) using Twilio/SendGrid und signed URLs via S3/CloudFront.
- Create a basic analytics dashboard (sends, opens, clicks, video views).
- Ensure HIPAA-level data protection and privacy (PHI minimization, encryption, secure secrets).
- Implement foundational DevOps and CI/CD for deployment on AWS / Vercel / Render.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE
- A Senior Full-Stack Developer or Architect with proven experience in end-to-end delivery and strong architectural design skills.
- Self-driven and results-oriented, capable of working autonomously and communicating clearly with non-technical founders.
- Essential experience with SaaS automation and video integrations (HeyGen, FFmpeg, Remotion).
- Critical understanding of security best practices, particularly in the context of HIPAA (or GDPR/PCI) and handling sensitive information.
- Ability to think like a product owner: breaking scope into milestones, prioritizing (“must-have” vs “nice-to-have”), and communicating trade-offs.
- Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency is mandatory for communication and the interview process.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE
