Full-stack Developer (React.js +Nest.js)

We are looking for an experienced candidate who has a strong understanding of both React.js and Nest.js and is eager to work across the full stack. You should be a proactive problem-solver with an analytical mindset.

About the Project

Our customer is building an AI-powered personality assessment platform with strong social utility, designed for a target audience of 20–40 year-olds. Our users are interested in self-optimization, exploring their careers, and improving their relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to join a project for a US-based client and contribute to a product that will have a real-world impact.

As a Full-stack developer, you will

You will be a key part of our development team, responsible for ensuring the quality and continued progress of the platform. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Codebase Review: Auditing the existing code to ensure it follows best practices and has a solid structure.
• Bug Resolution: Tackling and fixing known issues, specifically related to report generation, content preview, and social group page updates.
• MVP Development: Continuing to build out new features and functionality to bring the product to its minimum viable state.
• Technical Guidance: Providing technical recommendations and support to non-technical founders, helping them make informed decisions.

• Frontend: React 18 +, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, Apollo Client, Socket.IO Client, AWS Amplify (Auth)
• Backend: NestJS +, TypeScript, GraphQL API, Socket.IO Server, JWT Auth (via AWS Cognito), Modular architecture
• Infrastructure: AWS Stack (CloudFormation templates available), GoDaddy domain

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial software development.
• Solid experience with React and its ecosystem.
• Proven knowledge of NestJS.
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of frontend and backend architecture.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency is mandatory for communication and the interview process.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE

• Experience with AI, Generative AI, or Machine Learning.
