Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 2026
This policy explains what cookies are, which cookies we use, and how you can control them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember information about your visit — for example, your preferences or consent choices — and help us understand how the site is being used.
How we use cookies
We use cookies for three purposes:
- Consent management — to remember your cookie consent choices via our cookie consent banner. This is a strictly necessary cookie and does not require consent.
- Analytics — to understand how visitors use our site (pages visited, time on site, referral source). Analytics cookies are only set after you explicitly consent.
- Marketing and advertising — to measure the performance of our advertising and reach relevant professional audiences. Marketing cookies are only set after you explicitly opt in, and are not used on career and job pages, on our privacy or cookie-policy pages, or in development and staging environments.
Analytics cookies
With your consent, we load:
- Google Analytics 4 — collects anonymised usage data to help us understand visitor behaviour and improve our content.
- Microsoft Clarity — session recording and heatmap tool that helps us understand how users interact with the site. For more information, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
These scripts are blocked by default and only execute after you consent.
Marketing and advertising cookies
With your consent, we load the LinkedIn Insight Tag (provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company) through Google Tag Manager. It helps us measure the performance of our LinkedIn advertising and reach relevant professional audiences. It is blocked by default and only runs after you opt in to marketing cookies. Cookies set by the LinkedIn Insight Tag include:
bcookie, bscookie— browser identifiers used for advertising (linkedin.com; retained up to ~1 year).lidc— routing / load balancing (linkedin.com; ~1 day).UserMatchHistory,AnalyticsSyncHistory— advertising ID syncing (linkedin.com; ~30 days).li_gc,li_sugr— consent and analytics identifiers (linkedin.com; up to ~90 days).
We do not run marketing tags on our career and job pages, on our privacy or cookie-policy pages, or in development and staging environments. For details on LinkedIn's processing, see the LinkedIn Cookie Policy and LinkedIn Privacy Policy.
Strictly necessary cookies
We set one strictly necessary cookie to store your consent preferences (managed by our cookie consent banner). This cookie contains no personal data and is required for the consent mechanism to function.
Our contact and newsletter forms use Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection. Turnstile is privacy-preserving by design — it does not use tracking pixels or behavioural profiling. Under its managed challenge mode it may set a short-lived security token (cf_clearance) to confirm a successful verification. No personal data is collected or shared. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Managing and withdrawing your consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time — use the “Update your cookie preferences” button at the top of this page, the “Manage cookies” link in the site footer, or your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Withdrawing consent stops the affected tags — including analytics and the LinkedIn Insight Tag — from loading, and their cookies are cleared. Note that blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of some features.
