Mobile Ionic Developer
WHO WE NEED
We are looking for a highly qualified, motivated and well-organized Ionic Developer to join our professional team. You will develop modern products for our client – a Swiss not-for-profit foundation that uses Artificial Intelligence to combine expertise in technology and food markets to deliver an effective solution for farmers and food distributors.
As a Mobile Developer, you will work on maintaining and further developing the AI-based mobile application for Android, iOS, adding new product features, identifying production issues, publishing on Google Play Store and App Store.
Primary Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Working closely with the client to elicit feature requirements
- Design and develop scalable front-end web and mobile solutions and help shape the architecture, design, frameworks and tools
- Participate in agile planning, estimation and development to enable fast iteration and feedback loop
- Develop, test, and optimize new features using Ionic, Angular and TypeScript
- Write unit and integration tests for new and existing features
- Help with publishing new app versions on App Store and Google Play Market
- Meeting both technical and consumer needs
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies and Experience
Tech stack project – Python (Django), Docker, Ionic (React), Angular, PostgreSQL, Azure, GitLab CI/CD, Jira, Confluence, GitLab
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or similar education
- 5+ years of experience in developing commercial web applications
- At least 4-year experience with Ionic mobile framework and similar technologies, e.g., React Native
- Solid experience with TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies
- Proven track of publishing mobile apps on Google Play Store and App Store
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work alone and within a team, deliver under pressure to meet deadlines
- Upper-intermediate English level and effective verbal communication
Additional skills that will be an advantage
- Proficiency in web developing and Angular framework
- Experience working in Jira, Confluence, GitLab
- Familiarity with Data Science, AI/ML
