eCommerce Business Analyst
WHO WE NEED
We are looking for a highly qualified, motivated and talented eCommerce Business Analyst experienced in Magento. In this role, you will work in a professional team, communicate with customers, and create new e-commerce platforms from scratch and put it into production. You will take part in making key decisions to build the most modern and user-friendly solution.
Primary Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers to determine requirements
- Analyze similar platforms to make recommendations to the customers
- Plan for major design elements by creating wireframes that communicate visual requirements and design to the customer and the development team
- Advise the customers and development team on Magento themes and extensions
- Define data architecture to organize data storage based on use requirements
- Become an expert in the applications we support and develop
- Define epics, user stories, functional and technical requirements, and specifications
- Write functional specifications that accurately reflect the customer's needs and are easy for the development team to understand
- Collaborate with team members and customers to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure timely, high-quality completion of work
- Lead and verify eCommerce solutions for our customers so well that they become raving fans
- Validate implemented solutions to meet project requirements and customers’ expectations
- Hold weekly meetings with clients to report progress, taking notes and documenting action items
- Create project timelines and help schedule team members effectively
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies and Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience as an IT business analyst, IT business systems analyst, IT focused product owner, technical analyst, or related role
- Experience with Magento and similar eCommerce platforms
- Experience writing functional and/or technical specifications
- Experience working with customers on gathering requirements, including gathering very granular technical requirements around APIs
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Upper-intermediate English level and effective verbal communication
